finally got the kit on and cleaned. managed to crack a side skirt (doh!). only in the wheel arch and it's not really noticeable. i'll fill it up and paint over it eventually. anyways, i reckon it looks decent now. so i can finally start getting some performance mods underway. hooray! there's more (unfortunately smaller) pics in my gallery. check out the pic of with and without the door splash. it's photoshopped so looks a little weird but i can't decide whether to put it on or not. leaning towards yes, but just thought i'd gather some opinions. cheers!

it's riding a little high at the back cuz there's NO petrol in it at all. still, would look better lowered another couple centimetres but i have enough trouble as it is!

heh. not really. photos are great in that they don't show all the knicks that car is plastered with. when everything else is done, i'll get it resprayed but that's a long way off.

and thanks for the offer distortion, but your car is probably faster and nicer on the inside. (wish i'd bought a futura rather than a gli! )

lights were the most expensive. $900 for all of them new. then the venom front was 500 or so + a couple hunj worth of painting. fit the lights and front end myself with a friend and the skirts and bar i had some assistance from the guys at americar (if anyone in canberra is interested in getting their car sprayed  ). not too much hassle. the rear bar doesn't completely sit even but it's virtually unnoticeable and i need to make some more room for the light at the back so it sits a little more flush but all in all i reckon it's alright.

a general question for people tho, does anyone's rear bar stick out slightly on one side? (ie. in my case under the fuel cap it pokes out the side a bit). i've noticed a couple falcons having this problem and wondering if there's a solution. may post a pic later if no one has any idea what i mean.

i think it's probably that clip because the original bar had the same problem. i'll take it off and have a look later in the week, thanks.
