hey i just got a cosworh bonnet vent and am unsure of how to fit it?cutting the hole and everything im fine with but how do i make it stay?It has no cast threaded studs or anything!

Just remember to measure 2 or 3 or even 4 times, then cut once

thats the black stuff in a tube like silicone isnt it?? is that the best and easiest way??

Urathane is not silicone, similar but much stronger. Its what your windscreen is glued in with. Yes it comes as black and other colours apparently.

Don't know if its the best or easiest way without actually seeing the job. That's up to you to decide.

any idea of an effective way to vent from bonnet vent into airbox that will seal hot air out??

On the underside of the vent stick-on foam rubber, from Clark Rubber. They have various sizes. Cut coresponding hole in top of air box.
