Got a rear EL tickford lip for my GLi, what's the best way to mount it on there? It's got all the screw holes on the lip but seeing how I have a GLi the only place I can screw it into at this point is where the mudflaps go.
Is it easier to take the rear bar off and drill the holes for the other screw points and screw the bodykit into place like that, or can it be done whilst still on the car? Same question applies for the sideskirts I suppose. |

I reckon your best bet is to just give the kit to me...

You can drill the holes while the bar is on the car...not sure how easy it will be screw the skirt on though. I mean it would be easy with the bar off, but without it being held in place with a jig, it might not be aligned properly. Also you'll need to sikaflex gaps and such too. The side skirt is held in place by screws at each wheel arch and I think can also be held into place by a few screws underneath (could be wrong). The top of the skirt is glued.
That's what I gathered with from my EF kit...which is however still sitting in my garage collecting dust.
