Hi people,

Just chasing some measurements and pictures of the underside of an EF/EL Fairmont and NF/NL Fairlane bonnet which are fitted with the chrome oval spring-base Ghia emblem.

I have an idea where the hole should go in the bonnet, but would like to make double sure before i go hammer and tongs with the black and decker. If anyone has any pictures of the emblem removed and can take a picture of the hole in the bonnet and take a couple of measurements from the grill that would be even more super fantabulous. By the look of the emblem there is a keyway, too keep it aligned.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

i simply taped up the top side of bonnet with masking tape,
drilled with a very small drill bit from underneath where there already a hole for the subframe then used a bigger drill from the top for the emblem!
then ti fit the key way bit i just used a dremmel!
dont forget to paint the hole before you put the emblaem in and all sweet!
goodluck dude
cheers Harv
