hey all.

my dads 02 focus's head light r horible to use at night.

he has taken it back to ford to get adjusted about 70 times.

and they just keep saying that they r fine.

im thinkign that its actually the actual light pattern.

r there any after market head light avalible for these cars?

and does anyone else have the same problem driving at night?

cheers.

i think ST170 headlights are different aren't they? There should be a few different types of headlights available for them. You might get a better response from the euro ford section of fordforums.com.au

yeh tried that.

and everytime that we go to ford the just move the knob and say they r fine when they r clearly not.

like the light just seems to point straight down and ya get no distance outa the lights.

have you checked the globes to make sure they're in properly?

maybe replace them with some different globes and see how you go, be a relatively cheap option before your dad starts forking out for a new set of headlights.

I have no idea what your on about mate, ive driven my mums focus many a time at night, and the headlights on that are heaps better then the ones on my falcon. (though the ones on my falcon arent adjusted correctly)

the hi-beam lights in my EF do the same thing kizzer. Like the lights on the inside of the assembly that only come on with hi-beams... they point straight down about 3m in front of the car.

Surely that's not right??
