Yeah think ford want about 140 a side, and yeah they do supposedly.

prices vary secondhand from like 80-150-160 ballpark.
I paid 80 bt that too a lot of finding and had to pull them out myself, also frequently you'll find they can have cracks/chips, for one considering there location to stones.

secondly there not foggies, the cornering lights there directed out to the side, but i sorta like that idea as that's where i need more light, those pesky roos.

yeah sounds like a good idea... mine look pretty cool because they are behind the bar not in it it shines across to the bottom grill aswell...

so id get oversize corning not driving or fog lights and mount them behind the bar...

They are turn/cornering lamps as fitted to BA Fairmont Ghia, Fairlane and LTD. Also BF Fairlane and LTD.
If the left or right blinker is on, the applicable turn lamp shines to help you see when turning a corner (when your parking or head lights are on, that is). They're not true fog lights.
BA and BF built with fog lights:
*XR6, XR8, FPVs
*BF Fairmont Ghia, Mk I and II
So you'd probably need a bumper etc. from one of those models to fit genuine Ford fog lights. Search under "fog lights" or "driving lights". Been a bit written about them. There are always aftermarket ones too, of course.

Just saw these BF fog light surrounds ("bezels"), for FPV, on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :IT&ih=022

The seller is FTG Auto Salvage. They MAY fit into any BF Mk I or II bumper, for those interested. Not 100% sure on that. Can anybody clarify?

^^ they will fit the BF series FPV front bars (GT, Typhoon, Force, etc). they won't fit BF I or II Falcons, Fairmonts etc. they are designed to fit the FPV bars only.

Thanks yeah I thought those lights were a bit too big to fit in the recess of an ordinary BF Mk1 or 2 bumper.
The BF Mk1 and 2 Fairmont Ghia fog lights fit in their respective lower series models, though. :D
