Hey Guys,

As its related to the exterior i thought i'd chuck the questions up in here.

Firstly, the old man reversed into my Ute.

He feels bad (As he should because he is a retard and shouldn't have done it haha) and even though it is slightly cracked / dented he wants to replace the front bar using his insurance. As it is an insurance matter would i get away with putting a BA GT front bar from SSV/Other sources on it?

Thoughts?

Cheers

Alan

u have to check with insurance company
and the repairer

as sometimes the reparier will not do it as it is fibreglass not plastic so it f**k thier warranty work

got this with my car atm, basically insurance said yes if i source the bar
but the panel beater wont do it as it not plastic all fibreglass

then some other issue anout paying for it etc

going to try and get the panel beater to throw on a AU2 front insetad from fraud

Ah right, i can source a genuine plastic bar so that should eliminate that problem if it comes up, i guess i'll just have to ask them then.

Cheers mate

Insurance companys will only pay for what was there before the accident, if you want something different then you would have to make up the difference in price.

Then you just need a panel beater who's willing to go to the trouble, and as Frank said they still have to warranty their work
