Far from being a FORDMODS recommended exterior mod, this idiot Asian Painter has nonetheless modded my Ford....

Much loved and devoted family member. Second wife to Fiend, daughter of Fairmont.

Viewing is being held in Newtown, Wellington. Due to family request all the nice bits will be removed before burial proceedings.

"A long a fruitful journey that I was proud to be apart of along the final stretch. Died before your true time of water intercooled supercharging manual gearboxed V8 SS eating... Fond memories - you'll be buried with my heaviest right boot..."

He came out of a park with no indicators and didn't look at all and tried to push his way between my left side and a Corollas right side.

Corolla is dented up, but he bounced off me and repeated the process twice. Think he got thrown out of drivers position by first impact and was purely a passenger from that point on.

RANK RANK RANK RANK RANK RANK.

Thanks for the thoughts. Will pass them onto family and friends.

I am not insured - a long story in itself which just amazes me. I have full house and contents that I've been paying for decades, but the same company wont give me car insurance as I have criminal convictions. A bloody joke. What would I ever do if they bought in compulsory insurance? Stop driving?

His insurance company seems okay thus far. Have had contact with them.

Did go off my nut, for sure. Had the kid in the car with me which kept things to a level above kicking the snot out of his scrawny a***, although would have felt stink smacking out someone who was shaking and standing with his hands above his head like an Olympic Games protester in front of a large tank.

His fault. He will pay.

Am now returning to my build thread with my tail between my legs..... Broken... Shattered...

Can't believe a right wing Government is back in power and my loverly old car has been screwed in the same weekend!

i'd be wary when his insurance assessor comes to inspect the damage and tries to pick out any unroadworthy mods you might have done, and fight the claim?

Yeah - did put a lot of time into it alright. I have not even managed to write a list of all the extra bits on the damn thing in order to start taking them off. The brakes are about $500 worth alone...

Initial response from panel and paint shop was "Oh yeah, it's not that bad" and then I moved away from leaning on the filler cap area and the boss came out and said "written off, forget it - your insurance or theirs?"

And just when you're down in the dumps, along comes a Mazda to cheer you up...
