I'm well aware of the two stickies at the top of this forum however just wanted a few pointers/personal stories from others regarding car care.

Recently purchased an FG 09 which I'll be picking up this week, they tried selling me 'aftermarket protection' including paint protection, interior protection, tint etc. I've already gotten a quote on the tinting using the same material for over half the price the dealership wanted to do it for.

Has anyone else opted for these particular addons, I just felt like they were trying to increase the sale price of the car and that I would be able to get similar protection from a 3rd party provider or even self application myself.
