Hi guys

I'm woundering what it would take to put and el fairmont ghia front on an xh. from what i can gather if you have ghia bonnet, bumper and lights should be fine. any advice.

and if any one has done this can you please post some pics i have only got an image in my head.

I don't think it's possible to put it on . As the xh front is x series not e series . Someone else should know ??

can't be done without major modifications.
the bonnets are completely different.

the headlights/frontbar will bolt on, but the bonnet is the main issue.

oh really. i was assumeing that the front of the xh bonnet (with the sudden slop down) would be compensated by the grill of a ghia. mabey i might just go with a xr front is mods are to hectic.

I just can't sand it that there is no top grill. just dos'nt look right to me.

where that bonnet meets the windscreen and guards is different on an XH to an EF/EL.

you'd have to perform THE SURGERY on your bonnet, but it could be done.

If i was to do that kind of stuff id nearly be keen on trying to make an ED front. Something new. i look into it bit further.

I reckon the EL Fairmont Ghia front would look better than the ED front. It would be less work to get the EL front to fit and it would look more modern.
