hey peoples, havent been on here for ages, been busy with other things, anyway dismorning on the way to work some !@#$ cut me off and i had a date with a fence, anyway the damage isnt to bad just the front quarter has a nice smash in it, and a few littel bumps along the side. Anyway anyone recommend any panel beaters in thomastown, reservoir, brunswick area?

ALL i can tell you is a great panel beaters in MITCHEM, this guy is really good he does the cars in the auto salon so if ur interested pm me, and i could get u a deal, my EL Fairmont is Currently there now, gettign repaired!

Hey i wanna fix my right front panel too... was thinking, would it be worth just going to a wrecker, and just switching the panel? and then getting a good re spray? cause i gotta get my bonnet re sprayed anyways..

depends on how damaged it is. if it has a few dints, or if it has been smashed then it would be better to replace it, thast what i did, coz me $80 for the F LH Guard for my EL Fairmont, place in dandenong, pm me f u want to kwno address, dotn ahev it on me at the moment.

Thats AWESOME! im totally doing that! maybe i could go to a wrecker, find one in the same colour maybe :) was it hard to replace??? like im asuming you need to remove the indicator and that, could you go into a bit of detail about how you did it? would be greatly appreciated, cause ill be doing it next week then :)

Well it wasnt that hard, just take the old damaged guard off and go to a wreakers and buy one and replace it, it came with side indicators and was in good condition, all i ahd to do was scuff it back and prime and then paint it the same colour as the car, so its easy as 1,2,3. if you need mroe information on bolts ect, then pm me or watever anmd i will help you out

Does anyone know how to remove my front right side panel? where the bolts are etc as i am replacing it

Hey mate,

There are 4 bolts, 3 of them are located under the bonnet u will see 3 bolts down the side of the front , the 4th is located where the door meet the guard , just have to open the door and use a 10mm socket,

k guys, i found the 4 bolts, that was easy, got them all off, BUT it still wont come off! removed where the guard is connected to the mud flap as well, and a bolt near where the indicator is, took the indicator out as well, but the gaurd WONT come off, is there a bolt inside the slot where the indicator is that also needs to come off? man i just dont know!
