quite hard enough to put 5 creases in the chassis. The only external damage is the back bumper. The panelbeater said the car will have to go on the chassis straitner my question is will they be able to get it back to the perfect way it was.

As far as I'm aware... As long as the bloke using the autobot knows what he is doing yeah they them near spot on...

There is a frame that goes up around the car and they measure down from it to specific points and have to get them to specific values so it is a rather precision field...

Cheers,
Tim

ah don't know... You would think the panel beater would though if they legally can't be repaired... Where did you hear/ find that?

Cheers,
Tim

Sucks to read you got rear ended today. Hope nobody was hurt!

In regards to the car being straightened. They might do it if it's LEGAL TO DO SO & will be able to me made right, as well as if it's cost effective. If none of those conditions can be met, it will be a stat write off. Hope you have it insured for agreed value mate!

Good luck.

Cheers

ToranaGuy

When i smacked mine they needed to straighten the chassis, put it up on this big robot thing and pulled it straight, apparently it was quite a site to see (guessing the guys that did mine dont use it all that much) i am not sure how bent mine was but you can see from the pics in build thread how bent the wheel was in under the car to start with.

Car is still going fine, dont have any issues with it apart from diff clunk so i dont think they replaced the bush when i did it but its not so bad as it doesnt happen all the time.

You got any pics of you smash - sorry here about it mate!
