This car always makes me look twice! Gorgeous with the new wheels!
How do you go with the tyres scraping the guards, front or back, with that wide rubber and so low?

rear right is rubbing a slight bit because panel beater didnt put the panel back on properly when they put a new one on!
so ill grab the guard roller and flip it in a bit (not much needed if at all) fronts with 245 i dont have a issue on bumps through corners or anythign as of yet but they have bene rolled! i do recommend rolling if u go 17s and 235s as it does tend to tip it out |

The panel beater reckond he couldnt do anymore or it'd f**k up the paint. The guards will be done on the xr once the 19's go on. 265 is a fukin wide tyre! handling much more responsive/predictable with them on?

well the rear is a 35 profile which im goin to change to a 40 soon because its a lil on the hard side on the ride from what im usd to or that im paranoid .. one of the two or a combination of both.
handling wise they grip like no tomorrow! lol The Tickford Caliper shows up pretty nicely, but i hope i get my territory spare soon (Matt!$#!$# lol) because i dont want another flat! |

Actually on that note, on EF/EL's you can actually move the front of the guards out about 4-10mm (if more drilled maybe too?!)
Sometimes its necessary for the XR Front Conversion so the bumper lines up a bit better on the sides. Its done by removing the mud-flap lining protectors infront of the front wheels, theres a 10mm nut which you undo slightly and pull the guards out (from underneath ull see it, near the indicator inside) and it'll move it out and wala, tighten the bolt whilst ur holding it.. Im sure it can be done to any ef/el for maybe a slightly wider look, not sure if you can see it so much visually but helps and even more not sure if possible on ea-ed's. |

How do you find the heavier wheels with the diff when letting the clutch out in reverse ? I find when I have heavier wheels on the back my diff shudders a bit in reverse. It feels like the clutch, but it doesnt do it with lighter stockies on (the diff is fine too, it's just been checked) Serious? The diff? My car (el xr8 manual) does the exact same thing if i try reversing at low rpm. Ive got some frigan heavy rims on my car too, simmons 3 piece.. Thought it would have been the clutch? Ah well |

Im telling you these 18s are the heaviest wheel ive ever held! lol.. my au2's were this heavy, then again nor originals!
I get a little shudder, but nothing really i spose? Guess could depend on the car too .. they dont really like being lowered either! |
