Hey Guys I've got a body kit that i wouldn't using, instead of hiding it in the shed so I got a quote.
Parts include Rear bar, spoiler, skirts, flares and front bar (off ef) If been quoted +2000 for painting but without fitting or GST Its a little more than expected in comparison to other threads on this topic. Any ideas how i could shave off a couple of hundred. ie what sander do i need to remove the paint? what primer do I use? Can I paint it myself or does a PRO need to do that? Useful suggestions would be appreciated -Going onto a green ED-

What kind of kit is it? you say gt, but then add the front bar is off an EF?... little confused. Yeah wouldn't go paying $2000 for painting any time soon. I've never painted a car but there's a few people on here that can spray like turboef someone like that should be able to fit and spray it for not even half of what you were quoted

Its an EB GT kit minus the front bar.
Im probably going to zap on an ef front bar if i cant afford a proper GT bar from SSV.com

That doesn't look too bad. But yeah as you said obviously a custom job. which will no doubt push the price right up again. check out www.canberracarstyling.com.au
