i was just wondering if anybody out there has put an earlier model bonnet scoop xb, xc style onto an el falcon? , if so how much would it take, time and money wise?

i was thinking about doing it so it sat close to the front of the car and cutting out the front of it so it was like the old style ram air setup, but i might have a look for the photos of the other ones first

Here is mine, done on an EF Fairmont., and in my opinion looks great. But I'm biased. Still hasn't been painted LOL. Bit of work involved but worth it.

Nice one paul that actualy suits your car well. Black out your front grill and it will look even better. A mate of mine has fabricated one onto an au xr8 ute but i reckon it doesnt suit that.

can't say i'm a fan really. I actually reckon the new monaro ones would look good. (Before you flame me, you can actually buy BA style bonnets for VT-VZ :shock: )

If it were me, i'd just get one of those sequential bonnet scoops and spend the $$$ on a nice sit of mags 8-)

I personally dont think it suits it. Just looks too busy and the proportianate.

I think the bonnet scoops like above would look alright on an xr... but on the fairmont its a bit mish mash
