For that price you could have gotten a cheapo ebay hid conversion kit, or half of a good kit.

I'm running a set of 55w driving lights setup to come on with the parkers, so they're on at both high & low too.
Oval shape mounted either either side of the numberplate.
Went for this option as they provide a great spread beam without blinding other drivers.

yea that sounds good. lets go 'round blinding other road users - great idea 99. they are illegal to use on a Halogen reflector for a reason ... research !

Seriously, who honestly thinks "Oh wait, my lights are going to be oh so slightly too bright for other drivers, I mustn't use them?"

Whats that? No-one?

I know theyre not legal, but they'll solve yoyr lighting problems though, especially on EF/ELs.

I reckon half you people with lighting problems have yellow head lights and just need to clean them properly!

those supercheap globes are absolute s**t in the wet at night, its like the headlights arent on at all.

i had this problem in the ED, turned out the silver reflector paint had been cracking and falling off so the amount of light reflected was reduced.

replaced it and all was good again :D

i have replaced the globes in a newly purchased ef and the lights are still very dull, I am unsure they are aligned properly, any idea how the are adjusted. I will rule out the adjustment first and if this doesn't probably buy an aftermarket set, in the wet a few nights ago a dolphin torchlight actually worked better!!!
