Hey guys. I've been agonizing over wheels since before I bought my car, which is around 8 months. I'm think I'm about ready to finance the wheels and lowering but I can't even decide on size. I really need some pictures and recommendations.
I'll say it now, I'm not that bothered about looking unique. I don't care if I "copy" someone elses wheel choice, just want a nice set of rims. But I don't know whether to go 18's and lower it a bit more or go 20's and keep it a bit higher. What sort of suspension/wheel setup is gonna look nice but not be ridiculously ground scraping etc. As for wheels, I was thinking 5 spoke shadow chrome, 5 spoke black with chrome rim or multispoke. But if anyone has anything else they think would suit chuck up a picture. Car is an 03 BA xt in Mercury Silver (the darker silver). Cheers, Tyler

I was actually thinking the viennas in black though. Not sure how they'd look on a dark silver car. But yeah, perhaps . I'll get some photoshoppers on it.

I'd suggest considering the 'comfort factor' also.
An 18' setup will certainly have a softer ride than a 20', if that's important to you.... I've been considering these Speedy Wheels "Cheetah" in 18' for my car. (They also come in 19')

Medusas were my first choice, lo4ord. Decided to go for something more plain but eh. They are nice rims!
I like those too fordfreak. I saw a set chrome 5 spokes, like medium thickness that looked pretty sweet. No idea what they are though.

Excellent choice of rims... i have the same Mine are 19's. The ride is ok, not to rough. Wouldnt mind some better suspension though, i feel like im riding really high on the stock futura suspension. |
