hi guys,

Got a ED with full custom front bar and EB GT kit just wondering on colours.
Original idea was same colour (Reef Green) with like a darker Poly reen pearl or something. Then i decided kameilion red to blue but starting to think its to ricer like. What colour do you think woul dbe a awesome colour i want somethign rather original on a ED.

Dad suggested BA Venom Orange/Red
I would like a nice purple/blue maybe

What you guys think? What a good colour?

Well if you want a purple/blue, go for say BA Phantom undercoat, and in the clear put the blue sparkle things. Or just mix a blue flake into the phantom. Dunno how it'd turn out though.

White with blue pearl. Like a pair of Oakley sunglasses I saw the other day. That's what I wanna do to my wagon at least now...
I wouldn't worry about being called a ricer with kameleon paint. it's cool as!

Theres a guy in the newcastle fpv club that has a white EL XR8. He has his front bar and bonnet vents with a blue pearl on them. You have to be in the know, to notice it, not alot of people can notice it, unless they know what they are looking for.
So yeah that is a good idea, as when its only on the kit, it looks wicked, so id imagine a whole car in white with the blue pearl overlay would look feckin awesome.

You want original. Piss in the white paint, or take a giant s**t in there. You dont see many cars in piss colour or s**t colour.

On a more serious note. Ok to help people out, list the colours you hate.

Mate, your not gunna find much that isn't done. I mean there's people whove had there entire cars chromed!
maybe do the car two tone, don't see many falcons like that.
or maybe paint the front of the car one colour and the a** another. if you use two similar colours, like a blue and an aqua, and have them blended well in the center, it might not stand out that much and actually look pretty funky! or if you really wanted to get noticed, use two contrasting colours.

P.s. white is wicked colour! just not with silver.

If you want something different - why not go pink??

Or a silver/grey colour with a hint of blue or purple pearl.

Or what about trying a variation on reef green.?? making it lighter or darker, or maybe more blue or something.

Don't forget if you get a one-off colour (especially pearl/metallic) you are gonna have a bastard of a time colour-matching it if you are ever in an accident or just general dents and chips.

I like your original idea.

no offence, but blood orange will look like an ex brisbane taxi. I reckon go BA Vixen (brighter than venom) with metallic red pearl or something to make it sparkle a bit.
