Hi

I want to mod my front bar but do not know how to go about it. I do not know where to start. If anyone could give me any pointers that would be appreciated

Mod it for what? spotties? driving lights? I assume you mean fora custom front bar? check out this link.

for a custom bar, a lot of cutting, shaping and fibreglassing is needed.

Ok Tim, as Twirqurky said, what do you want. the first thing is that ytou have to decied what you want to do and the look you want. When you have that we can add our suggestion and you can go from there.

Thanks for the replies guys, I want to use an ef bar but make it look like a BA - BF if you know what i mean. The big Driving Light and so on

What do you think. How should i go about it

It can be done. there are a few people on this forum who have done similar things. check out effalcons car. he as a BA kit right round. You need to find a lower half of an BA xR bar. You will need to cut your EF bar just above the dividing strip and get them either fiberglassed or plastic welded together. fitted, pianted, aligned etc. lots of work

Sorry Shoey, My mistake. Just didn't look the same side on. Sorry about that. Then in that case it is almost exactly what i want to do. How difficult was it. Did you buy the lower half and attach it to the ef front bar

it was very friggin difficult and im still not anywhere near happy with it but basically i got the 2 bars jigged em in place and fiber glassed them together but now im in the proccess of making and complete fiber glass mould of the bar (cause someone reversed into mine and damaged it really bad
