Hey Fellas,
Trying to remove the headlights on my AU1 Forte. The bastards won't come off... There seems to be a bolt I can't see holding it in at the bottom where the grill was clipped on. What'd I miss? Maybe a step-by-step guide would be easiest, but I think that I've got the rest of the bolts. Thanks guys! |

Have you checked the car manual? There should hopefully be a diagram in there somewhere, hopefully it helps. But I think GlenAUII might be the best to talk to about the head light problem, he seems to be an AU guru

There is a 2 bolts on the top one on the botom were the airbox is and the other one is hard to get to its behind the bumper bar. I got it by removing the grill and sticking my hand in there.

Theres four bolts on each headlight. Its easier if you remove the bumper but they're able to be forced out without hurting anything. Its unclipping everything off the back of them that give me the s**t..

Yep, that's why i took mine out. I just bought some aftermarket ones and put them in, as I dried them out 4 times. if you just want to dry them out, just take the headlight bulb out and leave the boot off, and park it in the sun, it'll take about 20-30 mins to dry the headlight out... Your better off trying to fix or just replace it though IMO...
