(yes, I searched, and nothing came up!)
So anyways, I took the wind reflectors off the doors that were put on in the factory (!!), and alot of the cars paint came off with them! 
I am now wanting to removing the dust deflector from the tailgate and the pinstriping, but am not too sure how to do this safetly seeing as they were all put on over 10 years ago! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

pin striping is easy with a decent heat gun, when it gets hot it goes very soft and stretchy and is easy to remove off the vehicle without damage to the paint, then some cut and polish to match it in.
those wind reflectors are more commonly known as weather shields. Aunger do black slimline ones that don't look too bad, they match in better with the tinted windows and being slimeline don't protrude out as far. as for the rear dust deflector, is it a spoiler type one (ED/EF XR wagon style?) or that black plastic kind? |

I wanna remove it to fit an XR spoiler.

get a small paint scraper and sharpen the edge then slice through the double sided tape while lifting the weathershield. if you have a panel beating/paint supplier close by pop in and ask for a caramel wheel its a brown rubber wheel you put in a drill it will remove the old tape and your pinstripes with out damaging the paint as long as you dont hold it in the one spot

I used a hair dryer. Get the sticker warm to hot but be careful. Then just peel it off and keep it going so it comes off all together as one.Dont pick it off cause that is a mess.
Then get some de-solve-it (the orange stuff) and rub that in to get the glue off. The just cut and polish it to make it look good. | Take some photos for me so i can do my doco please.

i used a hair dryer to heat the pin stripes, then eculaptus (spelling!) oil to rub off the sticky lines.

just take it down to a body shop they will use a caramel wheel to get it off prob charge you like 10 bucks and it shouldnt leave gooey crap behind

Panel shop did mine with a caramel wheel, came up good. Couldnt use the heat gun method as the clear coat has started to seperate from the colour. I need a respray real bad

Ah yes, hold the phone.
I actually might be better off taking it somewhere too, as my clear coat is flaking off real bad in some spots. Last thing I need to do to it is even more bloody damage!! Lucky she's getting a new paint job next year!!
