Hi all
Just trying to work out the wiring to the Hollandia Sunroof I have here. It is the Hollandia 700 tilt and slide so is the sam eas is in the EF and EL's.
Here is where my problem lies...............
Someone at some stage has played funny buggers with the wiring , when it has been removed from a car.
It has the switch etc for it and 4 wires in total running to it , one of them goes direct to the roof cassette so I can assume that is the negative.
What the bloody hell are the rest of them!
Playing around this afternoon , I managed to get the little relay box at the rear of the roof to click when I pushed the button for the roof each direction but cannot get the roof to work. Wiring the roof motor direct makes everything work as it is meant to in reguards to tilt/slide etc but it is not the right way to connect it. I would prefer it to close when the ignition etc is turned off.
Does anyone have any ideas at all or a copy of the wiring for the roof itself?
Cheers Matt

Indeed, BenJ does.

I have attached a PDF copy of the Sunroof Section of the EF Factory Manual for your perusal.

Cheers

Success.......well sort of.
I have managed to get the roof all working happily through the buttons electrically.
But it keeps cycling between being tilted and starting to open. It will tilt , lower , start to go backwards , go so far , stop ,go forwards , tilt and start again.
When manually driving it backwards it will only go backwards so far then stops , another push of the button will get it to go back about 50mm more then it stops and wont go any further back.
Fingers crossed it is just the syncronisation of the SCU. WIll have a look at it and see how we go...............

I have a Holliandia SR date 1994 0n my T-bird. The system stopped working. Reason two fold: the motor gear stripped & poor connection from battery side.
Symptom of the electrical = battery volts on motor drive terminals with Mtr not connected and zero when motor connected.
The PGF from Ben looks similar but not exact ..yet very helpfull
On fig 25 my wire colours are different NP. Term 1 = 12v permanent, term 2 = forward
Term 3 = 12v backward term 4 = chassis and term 5 not used.
Term 5 is for automatic closure when door look activated. No use to me as I frequently have the lock on while driving in city but need roof open.

The 12v feed to the switch is via the ignition feed.

On fig 24 the pin locations on the SCU connections are the same as mine.

My problem is with the sync between the SCU unit and the roof position. The description mentions removal of the LH mechanism cover in full vent ( im assming this means tilt) position. This bit of trickery defeats me as the cover is ~ obscured by the tilting roof.
My solution will be trial and error using the suggestion from the PDF.
