hey guys
i bought a eb series two wagon went to take the wheels off to find each one has a funny sort of lock nut on one of the studs any ideas how to undo the nut with out causing damage to rims thanks

Take it to your local tyre fitters mate. They'll either have one to fit it or will hit it with the airgun with a rubber socket thing they use.
Failing that a good set of stilsens will get it off......be careful though, one slip and damaged wheel (stockies) If the wheels have recessed nuts....then I have nutthin

i usually just find a socket that just starts to go over the nut the get a hammer and tap it on and undo with a breaker bar.

weld a nut on there if ALL else fails, this really is last resort stuff.

moderately tighten the others first, THEN attempt to remove the locknut.

got the mags off the wagon today ended up going with elf100capri's idea and wacked a socket over the lock nut and it worked a treat thanks for everyone stopping by and posting an input have a good one guys

i work at a wreckers and every car that comes in has mag lock nuts without the key. only found 1 set i couldnt get and i had to use a hammer and cold chisel and they came off
