i just bought a set of ef ftrs and they are a bit grubby. i am trying to clean them up. the front of them look fine, but the back of the rim is very dirty, i guess they were only ever cleaned on the car and i can't seem to get them to clean up. i have tried degreaser and high pressure water, then i tried autosol metal polish, then i tried some 1200 wet and dry. the wet and dry and metal polish worked okay, but i still have marks and stuff in the machining grooves. Any ideas?
the pictures both show after dgreasing and high presure but before metal polish & 1200 and then after.

If your worried about the inside of the rim, just give them a quick sanding, degreaer then spray some aluminium paint and clear gloss and will stay on for awhile, did that to my rims paint is still on there.
