mines racv and they allowed 30mm.

i changed from aami to racv, as with aami i wasnt allowed any "performance" modification, which included the 2.5" exhaust and lowering. when i rang aami to find out about lowering, they said "no but you can have another "cosmetic enhancement" (already had alloys) how about a spoiler??" no thanks and could you also cancel my policy while you are at it. hello racv...

Just cars they charge way too much they quoted me $2300 a year for my car, where as rac was half that and allow all legal modifications.

i dont know if insurance is different for other states (cant imagine it would be) but when i first insured my old 82 celica every insurance company i rang had no problem with me being on my p's or the extracors and 2' exhaust, however a soon as i mentioned LOWERED they all replied with 'sorry sir there is nothing we can do for lowered vehicles' despite the fact they were only king lows (only went down an inch or so), i ended up going with mutual and not telling them my car was lowered, figured if they ever saw it and asked, i would just say i bought it like that and figured it was standard ride height for a 'sports car'
