Hey guys has anyone got an idea on what it would cost to get a front bar and bonnet resprayed? Im after the original colour just got a little bit of clear coat coming off on the bonnet and front bar has major stone chip damage.

If they do a proper job, as in sand it back, undercoat and then paint...it may cost up to 200 or more. I was quoted 250 for my EL Fairmont Front bumper in sparkling burgundy...this was a year a bit ago though. Not sure how much it would be now.

I got quoted 220 for just the rear bar. And that was with me supplying paint and me sanding and priming it.

Your looking at about $500-700mate. My front end from the front guards back including bonnet and bumper are being sprayed in two weeks time for the above price. Shops will vary there prices though. If you want a good job you pay allot more money..

Generally the front bar can be resprayed for $250.00 and the bonnet for $500.00

So around $750 all up but for that you would expect a very very good job. Sand back, undercoat, then paint and obviously good colour matching as well :)

oh yeah...oops it was for front bumper only. I was wanting a full body respray, but they quoted me at 1200...which isn't too bad but i didn't have the money.

still haven't got it painted hahaha.

But yeah about 400 - 500 for bonnet.

I was quoted $1200 for front end respray
that included front bumper, bonnet, front guards and blended into the front doors
and that was for my pearl paint job

that was about 2 years ago

Yeah but XR fronts can be quite costly. Once you get the front you have to get the lights and also the indicators. Im lookin at jst a tickford kit for the moment
