im thinkin of paiting ma side skirts myself, how much does anyone know a 1 litre of metallic paint would be argon silver it is. wouldnt be too much hey?

argone silver is the kinda perl colour aye?
pretty tricky to spray and match up to the resr of the car

yer but u can always give it a crack, they are only side skirts , if it looks s**t ill go n get em resprayed proffesionally, i wont be doin it anyway my mate has done a few jobs, hes not a pro but he aint half bad either.

go see joe paralongo @ distinctive smash repairs in ozzy park - i know him well, and he has just done work on both my current car and my old car - both argon silver EF's. very good work, and very honest & reliable. last cruise everyone commented on how well my front bar was done! lol the paintjob got more attention than the bar itself! :lol:

hmmm... not too sure. have a chat to him anyways - you might be surprised about the costs of getting it painted - hes pretty good. i'll be getting some skirts done there sometime soonish in argon as well - i know for a fact he has some there at this moment!

just the front - don't quite have the cash for a full respray just yet! you can notice that there is a slight difference in the colours due to fading, but its minor, and the job he did was very good.

i'm in carine btw

I was looking at getting a full respray done but the cost was huge even though it included lifetime warranty on the paint.

I'm in Ellenbrook.

yeah unfortunatley resprays aren't cheap :cry: i'm just going to keep the existing colour - when i get skirts on it etc, it'd be good to have it all matching up 100% - hence the want for a respray!

good mate of mine is a panel beater...
he did a whole car for $600

i asked him for like a 1/3 of my front bar and a spolier he said around $150

not cheap at all :S :(

hey man i sell and mix paint and i reakon you'd be looking at about $70-$80 a litre for mettalic and thats for a basic type of manufacturer. wish i could help
