G'day all,
need some help on how to align headlights. I have just installed a set on twinlights on my EB, and at the moment high beam is lighting up the tops of the trees on the side of the road NOW - I know how to actually adjust the way the light is pointing, and can put the car in front of a straight wall, but how should the lights be pointing. I remember someone years ago told me that the normal beams should be aimed just below the height of the lights, and high beam on the same height as the lights (i.e if the headlights are 60 cm of the ground, the beam should be focussed at this height as well. Does anyone have anu ideas, or is there a standard procedure. If you know, please let me know, I need your assistance!!!! Regards Ian

according to my crap Haynes workshop manual the car should be 5 metres back from the wall and low beam should be 50mm below the centreline of the headlights. Also 50mm to the side of the headlight vertical line away from oncoming traffic (left)
