buy a spring compressor, and some lowered springs of some brand,, use the spring compressor to compress the springs remove the springs and then compress the new springs and install them...

something like that.

Yes, you won't need spring compressors for the back springs. Support the car on a chassis stand and use a jack to release the spring after the shocker is removed.

Good onyer for having a go. Best way to learn about cars.

Maybe go and buy a Repair Manual for the car - that'll tell you how to do it, and give you the torque settings that you'll need when you tighten it all back up.

make sure u use stands, if u don't have em get bricks.. cos we were using 2 jacks and the jacks failed ... lucky we had the tyres under ... rears we just droped the shock from the top after u drop the diff and ripped em out that way ... also once u are finished stand on tow ball or something and bounce the rear of the car just to make sure the is seated .... well that is what we did ... at 1000 pm sat night ....

atleast his username reflects this....maybe he looks like kevin rudd (koala)...

but on topic, apparently the front springs are harder to change than the rears, and if your going superlows or lower I would recommend changing shocks/struts to shortened items. My mate had superlows on std shocks and it was a very s**t ride, he now has KYB's and they're much better.
