Where is the cable broken?

If at the handle or under the dash, you could pull on the cable with a pair of pliers.

If under the engine bay, then it is a bit more of a problem. On my EB I had to remove the bumper bar and then (with much difficulty) undo the bolts holding bonnet catch to the car, and then find a way to trigger the bonnet catch to release. I broke my bonnet catch in the process.

Good Luck
