Do you have any pics of the tail lights on your NC. Not too sure whether they are a coloured external lens or a filter behind a clear lens.

already had a look, there the same as EB's and ED's, they have the coloured filter. Where should i start cutting first? along the sides?

I would say along the top on the NC. Larger Area easier to get started.

ok, how hot should the blade be?
do you need to cut away all of the glue stuff? some of it is covered by the lens housing.

not sure on how hot the blade should be.
My soldering iron had it at a constant 150degrees. That cut through it like butter. But it did easy it along. The lens should mould into the light assembly. Need to cut through all of it or you will break the lens as you pull it apart. You can buy a cheap Soldering Iron from d**k Electronics or tandy. |

Ok yeah, I'm going to paint the surrounds black when they go back in, and fit more bigger, brighter LEDs for the parkers. 2x 10mm 80,000mcd white LEDs in each side should do the trick (my parkers are going to wind up brighter than my main beams ) Could u make a cluster pack of 80,ooo mcd LEDS and aim the to bounce around the light enclosure for a low beam would this produce a brigthter light then the normal halogen or narva equivalents

lol, no. You'd need hundreds of them, as the headlights are rated at several million candlepower, where as those LEDs are only 80 candlepower. And being LEDs they're directional anyway. do away with the reflectors, just aim the LEDs properly.

Well, I want to make a cluster of them and fan them out for the parkers, it they don't fit through the small hole in the reflectors from the back, but if I put them in from the front I can just poke the wires back out through the hole. Either way, the headlights are temporarily back in coz I need to go out tonight! They're just squeezed back together for now with just the clips holding the lens on. It'll be parked undercover so should be right. I'll keep looking into the xenon projectors, but I'll probably just have them for the main beams and keep the existing halogens for the hibeam.

What removing the lens or adding LEDs. LEDs you can add with the headlights in place - just remove the globe and solder LEDs in place (as I did) Removing the lenses you can't do with it on the car and they have to come out. This is how mine look at the moment - still not very clear due to the crappy outer lenses but you can make out the bits I've painted. also, this is how the LEDs show up - this is using 2 8mm 14,000 mcd LEDs in each side, so it should be much better with the 80,000 10mm ones. This is a 1 second exposure or so so they're not quite that bright, but you can compare with the normal parker globe in the pic.

Those lights looks tough hyena...would be nice if we could get someone to mould up clear outer covers in glass rather than the plastic crap

And it is almost as bright as a Xenon Projector. By the way Hyena I have looked around and can tell you that you can fit a Xenon or Bi-Xenon Projector in your headlight assy. It is going to be the same as most new Hondas. Actually try to find a set for Honda. The bezel will fit in your headlight with a bit of customising.

Apart from the xenons I didnt see why a really bright LED pack aimed out and other LEDS to circulate the inside to bounce the directorinal light beams every inside on the mirrors why it couldnt project a very bright light outside
