Ride: Falcon EL

Location: Bathurst
NSW, Australia

Guys just went thru 19 pages after my search and just want to get some clarification on how to install a set of driving lights for my EL Falcon. As im in NSW the RTA requires that there be a switch installed as well. In my searcdh I came across this diagram, is this what I would go off for installation.

Thanks.

Most driving lights will come with a install kit with instructions that are similar (and easier to follow).

Not sure about NSW but in QLD, driving lights & fog lights must have its own switch (most kits have this)

QLD rules: Driving lights must be tapped into the high beam wire and therefore only come on with high beam and also turn off when high beam is dipped

Fog Lights must be tapped into the parkers and can only be used in foggy conditions.

You've probably fitted them by now but yes, that circuit works in NSW and Qld for sure. ie I've never been booked in either State using that circuit for over 25 years. The switch is so you can have hi-beam only on road and driving lights off. (Off road use only) LOL
