looks great mate well done, doesn't sound too expensive to do you yourself, my mum got a sunroof put in her 4wd and i think it cost her around $1000 for the cheapest electric one, not sure if the price included the install but im guessing it would. i dont think im game enough yet to cut into my roof, just the thought of having to replace it after screwing it up makes me sick.

congrats on the job again :)

looks far too easy :) looks great too!

question: is it possible to put in an electric one into a standard roof? ie. retractable factory style?

Its possible altho from what ive heard its best left to the pros and costs about 2k installed for a top'o'the'line hollandia TVS glass sunny.
I plan to get one of them installed in the fbt when funds become half existant!

i have seen a few electric sunroofs at the wreckers, mainly for ea-ed series but have seen one for a ef was going to grab it but it was damaged unrepairable and can see no reason why i could not fit it, just need to get every bit espically the roof lining because its a little lower to allow the glass to go back between the roof and the lining, sorry didnt ask prices though i can find out.

Full electric is definately worth it. I got mine put in and have never regreted it for a moment.

Probably not worth it if your not going to keep the car though.
