Good morning lads,

I'm just wondering what problems could I run into (with the law and insurance) while my car has adapters fitted to it? Really quite sick of not being able to find any nice new rims and seriously considering this option now. Unless ofcourse someone here tells me how much s**t I will get into for using adapters? All possible scenarios? Etc.

Cheers

Ummm, bump. I do know that some members have them on their car and some of those that don't still know enough about them.

So input please folks?

What you mean when rego "comes"? Soz, didn't quite get you.

I'm thinking I should be okay to use adapters (provided they are installed right), if I don't crash the thing. Because I hardly think the Police would drive around with manuals on every wheel ever built and what wheel fits what car. And you don't have to go into detail with insurance companies either, right?

it helps when the adaptor is the same colour as ur rim too.... looks once piece. Dont get any vibration or anything with mine, and still feels the same as my 16's when i bounce it of redline too

And when you got those 19s all you did was tell insurance, "eh, I got 19s now k", not, "eh I got 19s now k, using adapters too fool", right?

really mate, i dont think its worth it. insurance companies are bastards and will look for any reason not to pay out, so if thy're discovered and they decide its reason enuf not to cover u if u are involved in an accident it could f**k u royaly.

wot are u after exactly? there are plenty of good looking wheels out there in pre au offset.
