iv'e got ROH milano's and they polish up a treat, thanks to Mothers metal polish.. only problem is that they grime up real bad after a little while.. is ther anything out there that i could apply after polish to act as a protectant for longer shine ? Saving monthly 6 hours rim polishing!

ive got a tyre shine product which i use to blacken and polish the tyres, Polyglaze Tyre Foam, i also use it on my rims to protect from dirt and wetness... its funny because i apply it with my car out on the drive way and it sorta drips onto the pavement and then when it rains theres these 4 dry patches on the driveway... its rained 5 times in the last week and theres still dry spots on the driveway...

keep a rag with ya I have that problem not so bad on 16 ROH factory rims but when I had my DRIFT type R rims every 2nd day I was cleaning em

Take them off the car ... clean them .. and put them in a box ... they will stay clean for ages.

i have a "wheel cleaning rag" in the boot, and tyre spray, AND alloy wheel cleaner.
use the cleaners once a week, and have to wipe them every 2 days, or they look black. gotta love DBA's and Great pads  ... and a little bit of a crazy driving style

You could do what they did on the AU fairmont wheels and put a piece of hard plastic just behind the spokes to stop the brake dust coming through, but then its kinda pointless having the spokes in the first place :/
I dont polish my rims and they come up quite nice with just a quick wash, once a week at rhino

i just say their shadow chrome. Same here, i wash the wheels every 2 weeks now, just havent had time with my trial HSC and what not. So when people ask me what is wrong with my rims i say "i got the new shadow chrome version but could only afford two rims so i put them on the front".

neway i like showing off the dba's The ones I am referring to, do show the stuff behind the wheel. They are see through. The way they are designed keeps 95-98% of the dust away from the deflectors. The little that gathers on the inside of the deflectors, can easily be hosed or blown away. A bit expensive but worth it. Maybe they are not yet available in Oz. I bought mine in Germany.

i just dont bother...once the car is dirty ill leave it dirty until i can be bothered...and when i do clean the car i do the whole lot from tyres to seats.

My Drift R's get really dirty too, but i dont really give a rats a***, cos its just too hard to clean em. i just take it to the local car wash 3 or so times a week, wack in a dollar an high pressure the things. Gets em real clean real fast lol, an i give the car a squirt too while im there
