Hey guys, I need to respray the passenger front and rear door thanks to my mrs hitting the letter box.
Anyways I have done all the prep work but I am having a hard time trying to work out how to remove the plastic section that sits next to the window??? I have highlighted the moulding in question in red. Attachment: Attachment: I got the door handles and all the other mouldings off but on the inside of the door there is hard plastic moulding that goes around the windows which doesn't want to come. When I tried to pull this moulding off I felt like something was going to break so I stopped. I imagine removing this moulding would provide the answer to removing the panels next to the window, or maybe not??? Attachment: Attachment: I can probably get away with leaving the front door one (shown in the first image) on but i feel that leaving the back door one (shown in the second image) would cause me not to get a good edge. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am going to hopefully respray the door on the weekend. I just need to know for sure whether the moulding on the outside is held on by double sided tape or if it is held in by screws. Also if the moulding on the inside needs to come off to remove this moulding on the outside of the door. cheer guys!!
