It is a real shame that holden copied the EF V8 supercar front end (on the VX) cause now when someone puts a GTO front end on, everyone thinks they are trying harrd to be a commodore.

From what I can see of the picture - your front bar doesn't look too bad - are the light angles hiding the damage ?? Maybe you should just sand back the front bar and prep it as much as you can for repainting - maybe get the bumber inserts painted red XR6 style, along with the side strips ??

Otherwise, I thought the side skirts, back wing and front spoiler below looked good - you'd still have your original front bar to ditch or store I suppose, but I'd think you could live with that :D :

{DESCRIPTION}

Correct me if I'm wrong, a Fairmont front would need a bonnet change as well ?? If that's correct, you'd be stuck with another bonnet as well, no doubt that would be sold - be a pain to store it :x

Anyway, my 2 cents (+ GST) worth . . . . .

Looks so mean!

It's growing on me!! How ever it will need a hell of a side skirt and rear bar upgrade to match don't want to be looking like them VS with VX front bars! :P

Wow! That Gunmetal EF that Leszek posted looks the goods. I would keep your car looking as standard as possible considering you have a beaut s/c V8 setup, sleeper is IN. I would love to see the faces of the Ho***n owners that you blast off the line. Haha I can just imagine it "What the f**k was that?" :D

Go the XR front. :D

Big front bars will cause the car to look like a bulldozer,

whole bodykits will take away the sleek sleeper look,

XR is the subtle sleeper look, and isnt way too costly,

who cares whats been done on heaps of cars..

yours will still be a blown non XR / monty V8 ... i think thats something not many people if any have,

mind you if any car its gots some balls to warrant a look at me bodykit 8-)

It's a modified "EF GT" front bar. See the bodykit link in my sig for the thread for details about it

The picture was taken some time ago, well before the recent bout of damage...

As an update, a screw or two and some fancy cable tie work over the long weekend has the bumper sitting on the car respectably...

Preference at the moment is to hunt down a stock replacement... take my time and hopefully find one in K1 gunmetal.... easier said than done - it seems even in hit from the behind these bumpers come off second best, lol. Least preferred option is doing the "XR thing"... would like to stay true to the futura namesake... supercharged futura, its kinda her 'theme'...
