Considering lowering my car, should i before i get some wheels?
Should i go lows or superlows or something else any suggestion? How much would it cost? just thought it would make it look tougher and it isnt that expensive, what are your thoughts? Cheers dyl. mmmm lets drop it.

yep definatly lower it first. a lowered car looks good no matter what wheels are on it.

Agreed. Lower it for sure, i mean unless it had hubbies i would put the mags on first but seeing as thought its a fairmont ghia definatly lower it.

Do i need to upgrade shocks aswel as i still want it to handle good. will it handle better being lower how much will it cost for the springs and if needed shocks?

Im pretty sure you 'shouldnt' have too many issues with insurance and lowering your car.. Just get lows and not superlows!! ha ha bad driveways + superlows = no mudguards and towbar lol.

rest your wheels against your driveway at the angle u would approach it and see how much clearence u have

Makes sure you get new shocks too when you lower the car.
 Will stop the car from bottoming out.

I dont have a driveway so its no real threat, cept work. I am with racv and appantly i can only lower it 30mm/1.25'' will lows be alright for that?
Will it be worth it, look tough? What brands and how much? Thanks

lol get the HD towbar with the bar that runs under the fuel tank..... handy fuel tank skidplate!
a friend used to have an XF with the MMM kit, seriously low, and the towbar was what stopped a lot of damage to the rear bar
