About $250 for the springs all round, you can find them cheaper but that's what i paid. You don't need to change your shocks, but if your chasing better handling then it would be the ideal time to change them too, seeing as you have to pull the shocks out too anyway.

Not sure how long it would take someone who knows what they're doing to fit them for you, i did it with a mate and it took 4-5 hours all up... we were figuring it out as we went though. I'd recommend getting some spring compressors too unless you like the idea of copping a spring in the face :P

along this line, I'm biting hte bullet and dropping in some superlows, when I can find them, as I have 17x8 wheels I'm going to roll the gaurds to be safe, I recall someone mentioning there is a tool to do it yourself, any idea how much and where I can find one, ebay yeilded nothing, and if it's worth it for one job, if not what is a reasonable price to pay someone to do it, I assume it would be a panel beater job as well.

Mate I went lovell lowered race springs right round and pedders sports riders right round (Koni's were just a bit too much of a pinch on the bank balance)... Lowered the ride hight about 3 inch and the shocks stiffened the ride up too... Make sure the rear bushing are good, sway bar is good and dunno about the ef's but I went a camber it too...

All up $1400 fitted, took them about 4 hours to do...
