I got an ED fairmont, and its fitted with Turbo Blades, i fukn love them suit the car but the clear is pealing off them , makes em look poor as, can the clear be totally removed and the rims chromed with sand paper and metal polish like people do with rocker covers etc???

I think you would want to get a junk rim and practice first, do some searching on metal polishing on the net, learn what mops etc to use, its alot of work, but rewarding when done

you will start with 600 wet/dry, usng it wet.then about 1000 wet/dry,using it wet.see hardware or chrome plating suplier to get tripoli polishing rouge available for stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium and cotton mops.can use a drill to polish, the pros use much faster machines, but more expensive.if you kill a drill, its cheap.
