Hey Guys,

Ive got a Fairmont Ghia in Dark metallic green, just wondering if anyone has painted the stock 17's black? Just wanna see what it looks like before i get happy with the sand paper :).

Or if anyone is handy with photoshop can you please modify the below photo with the wheels black?

Cheers in advance guys!

they would look good in black (make sure you also lower your car but)

I wouldn't bother with the paint if your not going to lower your car personally...

I would leave your car the way it is then.

Its a well presented family car.

The only thing I would do, would probably be a darker tint or change the headlights if your desperate for a modification :D

You could put on XR side skirts and rear lower bumper to dress the car up, but still not scrape on your driveway.
This BF Mk1 Fairmont Ghia has been done (and so has mine but no pics yet):

Cheers for the suggestions guys :)

Yeah nah, never was really a big fan of the XR kits on the Fairmonts aye. Ive painted all the lights black, that should do for now :). I'll just keep pouring money into go fast bits, next on the list is LSD and 3.9's.

Yeah the gun metal looks a treat on your ute dude :). I guess thats half way between black and silver aye. Might have to find a mate with photoshop and have a play around with a few different colours.

It's actually a peal like charcoal colour. I got it mixed and filled into a spray-pack can by spectron automotive paints.

look for a auto paint shop, they have hundreds of colour sample reference cards you can pick from.
