I made a similar set of headlight covers for an old telstar I was given back in '96 when I was in yr 12
I wanted one of the newly released ELXR's and that was the nearest I could get :lol:

I remember making them from tracing around the bottom of a milo can onto a role of contact I used to cover my books, then cut the circles out and stuck em onto the headlight covers, spayed em body colour then removed the contact. haha.

I think my mods have progressed a little with age :lol:
