did the same thing with mine, mesh in the grill and around the ford badge, but i held it to the original mesh and bit with the ford logo attached with wire, you cant even see it, looks very good, pitty i havent got good pics of it yet thugh

That would stop the radiator from clogging up with leaves n stuff?

never really noticed any leaves in the radiator, but yes, it definatly would, only airs getting through those little holes, its a shame that when you go at 100kmph, the bugs will be VERY visable :( a good clean should do it!

probably, and it should stop some of the road debri hitting the aircon condensor too (it directly in front of the radiator)

so yes, mesh should be a standard thing for ALL fords :)

cheers mate.
only problem with mine, is the plastic inside the air dam is a bit of a funny shape. I have no idea how to fix it either.

The front end was brand new, and its always been that way.
not many people notice it, but it bugs the hell out of me.

btw - my mesh is powder coated white 8-)

yeh, i noticed the crooked air dam :) wasnt gonna say anything though, most bar repair places should be able to fix it (dont count on it being cheap though).

what kind of mesh did you use (aluminum or steel) how much did the powdercoating set ya back?

yeah i figured it wouldnt be cheap. meh I can live with it..
the mesh is steel (from memory)
Powder coating only cost me $15 coz i went to the same bloke who did my rims for me years back..
