i love what you did the the ED grill mate. I would do that but its not worth it as i'm getting rid of the grille in about 1 weeks time.
But it looks pretty darn good. What did you use to fasten it all down etc? And howd you do the ED grille?

Its all held on with cable ties (drill i little hole in the plastic and feed it through and around the mesh).
ED grill was done by pulling it apart (its made of 3 peices) discarding the centre bar bit, trimming the back of the funnel, wrapping the mesh over it, re assembling, and cable tieing (to hold the funnel in) badge is held in by its tabs, and a screw into the back. all done for approximately $26

so that mesh is just held on with cable ties down on the EF bit? that sounds too good to be true!!
might be nearing time for my first exterior mod!! Last edited by nicco on Sat Jul 30, 2005 2:33 pm, edited 2 times in total. |

nah, just cable ties, i did it all without removing the front bar - if id removed it i would have bent the edges of the mesh over and used selastic.

Still looks sweet mate. I know if I was to centre that badge on a mesh piece that big, it would look bad. How is it attached?
