How do you explain the tail lights on the new mazda 3 sp26, they are clear with red leds

Sturmovik: Thats also like saying the front indicators on an ea-ed HAVE to be the stock amber ones, as the clear ones only have an amber bulb and not an amber reflector. (i know they are different but it is the same basic principle using coloured bulbs etc).

Indicators have a different law, they can be clear, with orange bulbs.

the ADR approved (aka legal) ef/el tail lights are completely clear.. including the reflectors

Ok law regarding Rear Reflectors.

ADR 13. Division 15
109 Rear Reflectors

(1)A motor vehicle with 4 or more wheels, and a trailer, must have a rear-facing red reflector towards each side of its rear.

The ebay add is wrong, and could be held liable.

They still have the red rear lights. There is a new model in July though....

whats the law on the red lights since you have the information handy... im quite interested in whats legal and whats not
