My little brother has just got an AU III Forte for $2600
It's stock as a rock, besides the bogan-spec wheels on it. Apart from the mods stated in this thread; ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/3-9l-4-0l-inline-6-modification-guide-t66.html What other cheap and effective mods can be done to an AU? Both exterior and interior wise; other than new wheels, lowered springs/shocks, leather seats, clear indicators and fully sik side graffix, bro. I've never worked on one, or am very familiar with the A-series range, as I have always had an E-series car. Advice, as always, will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, REW93N (and his little brother.)

Matey, best advice I can give is to make sure the suspension is in good condition and of course, put BA brakes on it. It is the best mod in my opinion. It's ok to make em go fast but making them stop is far more important. You can also fit the rear BA brakes to the AU, all you need is the braking system off a BA wagon or ute, including the Brake backing plates and shoes. Doing the brakes will also fix one other issue, DIRTY and OLD brake fluid as you will have to bleed the system. So many people never bother to do this job. |

I want to find the chrome bonnet mould for him, and some clear side repeaters (Might nick them off your car) First on the agenda though is a 2.5" exhaust. Just need to find out if it's IRS or Live Axel
