someone told me that mr sheen is good stuff to shine up your car. what does everybody think? i personally wouldnt use it on my car.

i had a mate use it once. came out shiny but i don't know what harm it may cause.

but its only silicone and water..

mr sheen is exactly the same as tyre shine, works wonders on interiors. Never used it on paint work though, wouldn't harm it as it's just silicone

It wont harm the existing paint in the slightest, but any paint you apply in future maybe, There is one major thing paint doesnt like and thats silicone, i would avoid it, any contamination of silicone that can be avoided should be. if you ever plan on a respray or have an accident it could add $ to fixing etc
