hey fellas,

last time i had a topic i was asking your advice on weather to respray my EA or not. Well since then...i woke upto myself..and have always loved the shape of the ef/el's..and decided i wouldnt waste my time on the ea.

Yesterday me and dad went down to Roselands - from kempsey to pick up this magic looking 94' ef fairmont i seen advertised on the net. i am so stoked about it - it has recently been resprayed as there was abit of hail damage awhile ago. but that had been fixed. 160.000km's which is jack s**t as it is 13yrs old, cd player, new exhaust.it has been well looked after and the BEST thing was that we picked it up for a BARGAIN price.

so im really happy with her. many mods to come. but first she must be dropped and a set of rims must be applied. also , later on i'l be fitting an ef xr6 body kit and will have 18" rims. which model of king springs would be best for this? giving that the kit will be on it and the rims will be?..low, super low, ultra low? p.s it needs to be a legal height as im a p plater and any chance the cops get to crusify me they will.

here's some pics.

$1900. just had new water pump installed + new radiator.

thanks fordfreak. yeh its a huge change in feel. there doesnt seem to be as much leg room tho for the passengers and driver? just something i noticed?

cannot wait to drop her and add rims. your ef looks magic.

does anyone know roughly how much a set of king springs + munro shocks will be? i gather it will vary between models..but just an estimate. cheers.

Yeh they feel awesome. They were used I might add but not for very long. A set will pop up sooner or later on there.

Lol, does look a bit like mine. Is it heritage or polynesian green?

Go some super-lows, definately look tougher then, even with stock rims, hehe.

KEMPSEY! I know kempsey. Usto live in the s**t hole. Naa i take that back its not too bad a place. sorry for goin off track here. nice ride btw.

Direct from the King spring factory on the GC for new SSL springs and shocks to suit ef/el i was quoted around the $800 mark installed. It was around $600ish without installation but like MooseMan said try ebay. it seems to be where the bargins at.
