sorry mate couldnt tell ya
all i know is that it was some place in broadmeadows
i bought the car as you see it and i wanna modify it a bit so that it feels a bit like its mine coz the last owner fixed everything then he decided to go buy an XY to fix up

its not a bad way of changing ur interior that little bit by spraying the plastic dash area
but dont go overboard otherwise it will look like 1 of those multi-colour imports

Cool ride Johnny. Here's some ideas: Dark tint? Leather, black with grey inserts? Black carpet to match? Gold stitching and custom headrest logo's? Re-bolstered seats? New S/Wheel? IMO the front end could come down 1/2".

Go the Fairy! F**k the Stato's off! :P

not bad not bad
would be nice if i could see the whole car to get the whole effect
its different

good to see diff peoples ideas
i was thinking bout the whole racing seats thing but i like my car to look sporty in a luxurious way... if that makes sense :)
so i let go of the sport seats idea

Full black leather/suede with gold stitching would look hot.

IMO dont paint the door handles and surrounds, just get the chrome handles or get some made or coated in a polished/machined finish.

Nice looking car.

Obviously it's a Fairmont..apart from the front end and the paint job, is there anything else altered on board?

Eee, I just noticed the interior's cappacino with the orange bits.

Some ideas for the interior:

Someone already said to add chrome handles. I second this idea.

I've noticed with a lot of painted dashes that it tends to look unfinished and kind of drivers-side-heavy when it's only the surround painted, as on your car. I'd suggest balancing it by painting either the vents or vent surrounds on both sides to match the orange. Also, ditch the fairmont badge above the glove box. For even more balance to it, I'd repaint the radio surround in either black or something close to the dark cappa from the top of the dash. Headlight knob orange, too.

I'd say go black for the PRND123 surround, although if you're considering going manual this is a moot point. Chrome handbrake button.

Black for the padding on the doors, black for the carpeted bits at the bottom, orange handle surrounds, chrome handle

Orange cupholder area. It'd be nice to see the console cover in black leather with orange stitching. Seats from your second ideas picture.

Mm. Continue the same idea in the back.

What's the go with the steering wheel looking black in the first photo, but cappa in the rest?

Anyhow, nice car. Having typed all this s**t out, I've realised I should have just Photoshopped it already. Oh well.

For the interior, remove those belt shoulder things with "FORD" on them, lol.

with the new interior im sticking with the idea of all black and gold parts/stiching
im gonna get some prices 2moro
ive got a new design for the outside
let me know what you think about the new look
i think im 90% gonna head for this design on the outside
i think it looks sleeker than the EL GT look i had before
