Buy a lawnmower

Catback Redback system with rear muffler.

Don't f**k it up with clear tail lights!

As krytox said...clear tail lights will f**k it up...IMO.

Spend the money on giving your car a full service if it hasn't had one. Oil change, Oil filter, air filter (K&N if you like), fuel filter, spark plugs, new leads, coolant flush and coolant replacement, thermostat, replace hoses if you like (I sure learned the hard way to skimp on hoses), transmission oil, diff oil and get brakes checked out.

Better to get the car in running condition, then modifying it and have it not run :P.

But if you are set on modifying and your car is fine with the service history...a good exhaust should be good.

Though saving up until you can get a full exhaust system is also a good idea...so extractors, hi-flow cat or modified standard cat and cat back exhaust.

BTW, it's spelled dilemma.

phong =P~

i agree with phong..... you will probably net bigger gains replacing old s**t to new, especially since some parts are over 14 years old

like o2 sensor, intake temp sensor, new leads, new spark plugs, coolant temp sensor, new oil & filter, new fuel filter, coil pack, reco injectors etc etc...... even this will cost more than what yuor budget is, but its a start !!
